Here are some guidelines and rules for posting on the various boards found across Arda:
- Profanity of any kind is forbidden.
- We will NOT tolerate RL-offensive posts. The most common of these are in the Joke category. RL racial, ethnic, and hardcore sexual posts/jokes will be removed on sight, as will the player who posted them. (For those patrons of the Thranduil restrooms, jokes and comments on the opposite sex are still welcome, as long as they are relatively tame.)
- No personal attacks. If you have been wronged by someone, the rest of Arda does *not* want to hear about it. Handle character conflicts through role playing not board posting.
- No Flaming. This goes along with number 3. If you cannot debate an issue in a civilized manner, we are not interested in your opinion.
- These rules apply to *all* of Arda's boards. Whether they are accessible to all players or a group (guild boards, Male Board, Female Board etc) of people. Violators will be issued a warning at the very least and in cases of severe violation be punished accordingly.
The best way to be sure you're not posting the wrong material is to use your own common sense, and respect for the others who read these boards.
