Some steal for pleasure, others steal out of necessity. Still others have been known to sneak off with magic rings from dragon hordes and change the course of history. Thieves are the rogues and sneaks of Middle-Earth. Whether it be coin, jewels, relics, or weaponry, the thief is trained to take any and all of these things as he desires.
Thieves must strike a delicate balance between profit and the law to survive. While they are masters and mistresses of making off with shiny valuables, breaking into places they shouldn't, and slipping around unseen, theft is considered a crime in most lands and is dealt with accordingly by the law. At least, that is, if they get caught...
A thief gets several skills to aid his thieving. These skills determine how good a thief you are:
